This collection is dedicated to celebrating International Friendship Day, observed on July 30th, a day recognized by the United Nations to promote friendship across cultures, races, and religions.

Introducing the You Are a True Friend NFT Collection

In honour of this day, Gate Charity has collaborated with the talented artist Warmpy to create a special artwork that captures the essence of friendship. This artwork serves as the foundation for a series of NFTs that will be minted and sold as charity, with all proceeds going to the Taiwan Down Syndrome Care Association. This association, established in 1991, is committed to supporting individuals with Down syndrome through medical care, early education, vocational training, and more.

On July 30th, Gate Charity volunteers visited the Taiwan Down Syndrome Care Association, donating gifts and sharing snacks and food with the participants. During the event, attendees were invited to express their creativity by adding their own touches to the artist’s original line drawing, making each piece a unique representation of friendship and community.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, have opened up new avenues for charitable giving by providing a transparent and secure way to raise funds. The You Are a True Friend NFT Collection transforms the artwork created during the event into digital assets that can be owned and traded on the blockchain.
