Analysts point out that Litecoin is considered the most promising for approval mainly based on the following factors: first, Litecoin has clear commodity attributes and has not yet been classified as a security by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); second, Litecoin has been operating securely for 14 years; finally, its technical architecture is similar to Bitcoin, both using the Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism and decentralized design, which makes Litecoin subject to the least regulatory obstacles. Currently, the SEC is reviewing Litecoin ETF applications submitted by several institutions, including Canary Capital and Grayscale.
