Visionary Investor Dan Tapiero: Fully Embracing Encryption, Optimistic About Bitcoin's Million Dollar Prospects

Dan Tapiero is the founder of 50T and One Roundt Partners. As a global macro investment expert who has managed over $1.5 billion in Web3 and digital assets, he has now invested his entire fortune into the future of cryptocurrency. Dan worked on Wall Street for 25 years, collaborating with several legendary figures in the investment world. Dan predicts that Bitcoin will reach 1 million USD within ten years. He believes that the value of the entire encryption ecosystem will grow from the current approximately 5 trillion USD to 50 trillion USD, with Bitcoin accounting for 20 trillion USD. He emphasizes that this is just a conservative estimate.

In terms of risk management, Dan's core principle is to never put himself in a position where he cannot turn things around. His portfolio structure can withstand declines of 80% or even 90% in the market. Dan suggests that for long-term assets like Bitcoin, the best strategy is to buy and hold for the long term.

Dan currently manages $1.5 billion in assets and has invested in 23 encryption companies. In his personal asset allocation, encryption-related assets have surpassed 50%. He believes this is a ten-year major cycle and will not easily sell due to short-term gains.

Regarding NFTs and traditional artworks, Dan believes that NFTs are more like a part of the creator economy, but the market currently needs time to filter out quality projects. In terms of institutional investment, Dan has successfully convinced several traditional institutions to invest in encryption, including the high school fund of his alma mater and some large pension funds.

Dan believes that we are in a period of "digital economic sovereignty" redistribution. The traditional financial system is losing trust, and people are beginning to redefine value and organize resources through Bitcoin, stablecoins, DAOs, and other means. He believes that starting from 2020, it will be a capital boom in the encryption world, and he has bet his entire fortune on it.
