On August 11, Jinshi Data reported that Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Gurman stated on Sunday that it will be difficult for iPhones to achieve domestic production in the United States within the next decade, and it may even be impossible forever. Gurman indicated that Apple cannot possibly start large-scale production of iPhones in the U.S. in the short term. From the perspectives of cost, scale, and engineering, this is entirely unrealistic. Even in India, Apple took nearly a decade to achieve a substantial increase in iPhone production. He also mentioned that the most complex iPhone models in the future may still rely entirely on production in China initially, including the foldable version and the 20th anniversary edition.
