Recently, I had an interesting idea regarding Bitcoin investment. Many investors seem to prefer buying on the rise, which made me wonder: is this strategy really guaranteed to be profitable one hundred percent?
Theoretically, the lowest point of Bitcoin's price is close to zero, but it is unlikely to completely go to zero in reality. Even in the worst-case scenario, it might maintain a very small value, such as 0.0000001. In contrast, its potential for rise is unlimited.
In this case, buying the rise seems to offer an infinitely large risk-reward ratio. From this perspective, as long as you buy the rise, there are infinite possibilities. The only question is how much you can earn, not whether you will earn.
However, is this way of thinking too simplistic? The investment market is complex and ever-changing, and solely relying on this logic may overlook many important factors. For example, market volatility, regulatory risks, and technological changes can all have a significant impact on Bitcoin prices.
While having an optimistic attitude is important in investing, balancing risk and reward is equally crucial. What does everyone think about this perspective? Does it really hold true in practical investing? Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences.
