Q1: Would you introduce yourself to the Gate Community? Your background and why did you create Yesports?

Sebastian: Of course! Thanks again for having us. I founded yesports about 1 year ago. My background is as a corporate lawyer for 5 years in Asia & Australia, then in 2017 I fell down the crypto rabbit hole and helped a number of the early crypto projects launch. We worked on some of the first streaming gaming x blockchain companies and a tonne of other projects in those early years.

Then in 2019 we moved into the esports market and helped a number of top esports teams connect with partners across the world. We helped Team Secret, The Alliance and many smaller teams.

In 2020 fell back into crypto and launched the largest DeFi app on Algorand eco - Yieldly. From there we started to partner with some of our favorite esports teams, such as Team Talon in HK and Thailand, BOOM esports in Indonesia, and others. This led us down a path of those projects asking us to do more with them to build web3 products for their fans.

Which is where we are today 1 week out from launching our platform token to millions of esports gamers.

Q2: Can you describe what Yesports is in a few sentences? What special things make up the Yesports project?

Sebastian: Yesports is disrupting the traditional gaming world and democratizing the industry in its mission to deliver complete, user-friendly experiences and bridge the gap between gaming, fans, and web3. Bringing entertainment and access closer to the user, Yesports is leading the way in creating a more inclusive gaming world leveraging new technology.

Q3: Currently on the market are there any competitors?

Sebastian: Yesports sits up with the leading NFT marketplaces such as rarible and blur in terms of gamified user rewards.

We differentiate with a vertical focus on esports and web3 industry. In that space we have very few competitors of note. We stack rank ourselves against the leading marketplaces in the world such as Magic Eden and Open Sea. We will continue to explore ways to build better features and nurture the 400m+ gamer user out there to use our product.

Our goal is simple yet incredibly powerful.
We create fun, familiar & always gamified digital products – This is how we continue to experience such high onboarding rates by adding to the already great gaming experience provided by our partners. In addition we have built in mechanics that are set to continue to drive rewards back to users.

Q4: Could you tell more about Yesport’s roadmap?

Sebastian: Absolutely, we always have some major events coming up.

We recently just launched our world leading digital marketplace with 15 partners creating exclusive drops. These partners include ZED Run, Planets XI, Decentral Gaming, Pegaxy, Dexioprotocol and many others.

Over the course of the year we will be launching over 50 more partner projects within web3 and also esports.

We also have some large milestones coming up with:

launches of the world first metaverse for esports teams to watch and participate in tournaments.
Launching of the first multisport web3 game esports league. We are bringing the leading esport teams to play the most interesting web3 games and hosting it all via esports platforms.

In terms of the token we are excited to get the token in the hands of our growing community with the TGE on 15 April. As mentioned previously, the $YESP token unlocks a full suite of platform benefits.

We will let the community know a little close to the TGE all the partners and plans for the date.

Q5: Yesport is a newly launched project and in my opinion has a lot of potential. Like these new projects, there is also a lot of competition. So what advantages do Yesport have compared to similar projects above?
