The Gate app has a feature called the “price floating window.” This allows you to see the current prices of cryptocurrencies on your phone screen without having to open the app every time. It helps you keep track of the coins you’re interested in.
Steps to Set the Price Floating Window
1.To use the price floating window feature in the Gate app, start by logging into your account and opening the app. On the homepage, tap on your profile icon in the top left corner. Then, go to “Profile and Settings,” and in the “Preferences” section, select “Price Floating Window.”
2.In the “Price Floating Window” page, you can turn on or off the option to show the floating window. Once you enable it, the floating window will appear on your screen, and you can customize its settings from this interface.
Parameters explanations:
Charged by exchange rate: You can toggle this option to decide whether the displayed prices will follow a specified exchange rate.
Display entries per page: You can set how many prices are shown on each page, with options ranging from 3 to 10.
Market selection: You have the option to choose whether to display prices for your favorite coins or to set up a custom market list.
Display mode: You can select between “Regular Mode,” which shows detailed market information, chat, and news updates, and “Light Mode,” which only displays the coin names and their prices.

Important Notes:
- The floating window will only show the cryptocurrencies that you have marked as your favorites.
- You can only set up this floating window feature using the app; it is not available on the website.
- If you are using an Android phone, the floating window will still be visible on your home screen even if you close the app. However, on an iPhone, the floating window will only appear when the app is open.
